College Sunday: October 12
Ebenezer family! College Sunday is coming up on October 12!
Whether you’re a current student, a proud alum, a trade school graduate, a member of a Greek organization, or a fan of your favorite college team – this Sunday is for YOU!
And hear this – if you didn’t attend college, but you supported someone who did, prayed for a student, mentored a young scholar, or simply believe in the power of education and opportunity – this celebration includes YOU too!”
Rock your alma mater, your favorite team, or the school you’ve always rooted for. Let’s fill the sanctuary with pride, purpose, and praise!

Navigating Our World: Wednesdays at 6pm (Eastern)
This September, Navigating Our World invites you to journey through the rich tapestry of Ebenezer Baptist Church’s legacy in a special series titled “Here I Raise My Ebenezer.” Through storytelling, architecture, and historical reflection, we’ll uncover the hidden figures—unsung heroes and sheroes—who shaped EBC’s spiritual and social impact. The series will spotlight the church’s architectural evolution, featuring the Heritage Sanctuary, Horizon Sanctuary, Education Building, and surrounding campus, as living monuments to faith and resilience. We’ll also explore EBC’s blue-collar roots and the transformative leadership of Daddy King, tracing how a working-class congregation became a beacon of justice and hope. Join us as we honor the past, celebrate the present, and envision the future of a church that continues to raise its Ebenezer in service to community and God.

And immediately following worship, join us in the Fellowship Hall, the Women’s Ministry is hosting a luncheon for the men. Registration is required, and will be available on this page soon. Check back here to register.

Farm 2 Table Community Meal on Health & Wellness
You’re Invited! The Food Justice Ministry and Choose Healthy Life are excited to host our next Farm 2 Table Community Meal on Monday, October 20th at 6:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall of Ebenezer.
Come and enjoy a delicious, healthy meal prepared with fresh, in-season produce from a local Georgia farm.
Be inspired by our Special Presenter – Dr. Robert Marks, who will share powerful insights from his new book, “The Crucible of Illness: A Doctor’s Story of Faith, Hope and Healing.”
Dr. Marks’ work embodies the African philosophy of Ubuntu: “I Am Because We Are” and explores the profound question: Can anything good come from being sick? Drawing on scripture, personal testimony, and over 35 years of medical expertise, Dr. Marks will encourage us with a message of faith, hope, and healing.

Canned Food Drive
The Food Justice and Crisis Closet Ministry invites the congregation to join us in supporting our neighbors in need. We are collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items in the narthex every Sunday through the end of October. All donations will go directly to our community partners at the Midtown Assistance Center, helping us strengthen our collective efforts to address the needs of those who are food insecure. Together, let us continue to embody the love of Christ by ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry.

Fall Festival
Get ready for fun, fellowship, and fall vibes – The Trunk or Treat Fall Festival is happening on Sunday, October 26.
This festive event is a safe and joyful alternative to traditional trick-or-treating. It’s a chance for our church family to come together and create a memorable experience for our children and youth.
Ebenezer ministries – you can be a part of the celebration by hosting a trunk! That means decorating the trunk of your car and handing out candy or goodies to the kids.
Let’s make this year’s Trunk or Treat a celebration to remember! We can’t wait to see your creativity shine on Sunday, October 26!
