Rooted in Faith, Abounding in Thanksgiving

As we enter into our traditional season of stewardship emphasis. We, the Ebenezer Baptist Church family, come together, once again, to celebrate who we are to one another in Christ.

Our focus this year is “Rooted in Faith, Abounding in Thanksgiving” The scripture tells us that “But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to make this freewill offering for all things come from You, and of Your own have we given You.” (NRSV – 1 Chronicles 29:14)

And, because God provides all of our needs, we come to the house of God joyfully offering our time, treasure and talent. In that spirit, please be in prayer as you complete the digital Consecrated Commitment form.

Thank you for giving your time, talent and financial resources to Ebenezer. If you have not already done so, please prayerfully consider becoming a tither and recurring giver. Giving to the church on a monthly basis helps us to connect with one another, serve community needs and carry out the mission of Jesus Christ. Together, we can do so much. Give today.

Stewardship: A New Thing

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:19)

The spiritual practice of stewardship is the voluntary and generous offering of God’s gifts of our time, talents and treasure for the benefit and love of God and others.

We are called to be faithful stewards in all that God is calling us to do and in all seasons.
Stewardship at Ebenezer is now a year-round practice. Our efforts are extended to include the gifts of service, financial literacy, education and environmental stewardship. Together, our gifts to Ebenezer help to embody the mission of Jesus Christ through service-filled lives that work to feed the poor, liberate the oppressed, welcome the stranger, clothe the naked, and visit those who are sick or imprisoned.

This fall, the Stewardship Ministry launched a faith-rooted financial education program in partnership with the free Financial Freedom Movement. The program covers debt management, wealth building, estate planning, and more. Sign up to learn more about the program.
